Please include your information below:

1. American Leadership in AI

The United States must promote leadership in AI and advanced technology to ensure America remains the global center for innovation, research, and deployment.

2. Winning The AI Race

China’s national investment in AI capabilities poses an immediate and direct threat to American economic and national security. The United States should prioritize policies that ensure it wins the AI race against China, maintaining global competitiveness and protecting national security.

3. Fair Global Markets

The federal government should work to ensure fair and open global markets for the U.S. technology industry, pushing back against anti competitive practices from foreign governments, and helping American firms gain access to international customers and talent.

4. Protecting American Innovators

The United States must adopt strong measures to protect AI companies and innovators from Chinese intellectual property theft and the piracy of U.S. software and hardware by China.

5. Regulatory Foundation

We need to set AI policy at the federal level and not at the state level, as clear and consistent rules across the country will provide a reliable regulatory foundation for all AI innovators, businesses, and users, fostering growth while addressing safety, security, and ethical concerns.

6. Government Partnership With Innovators

The federal government should act as a partner with AI innovators to help them build new facilities, navigate red tape, and access federal resources to grow the sector in the United States and deliver benefits for the American worker.

7. Energy And Infrastructure

The United States should support responsible domestic energy production and resilient energy infrastructure to power AI factories, data centers, and services, even if it means reforming permitting or re-examining some environmental laws that impede energy growth.

8. Workforce And Jobs

AI’s potential for job creation and innovation vastly outweigh concerns about automation or job loss.

9. AI In Public Services

The federal government should integrate AI into as many of its operations as possible, saving taxpayers money and creating additional efficiencies in government operations.
